Tommy Takpani Sr. : Male carver, born in 1936, lives in Cape Dorset. Tommy Sr. and sons Tommy Jr.(b, 1964) & Pauloosie (b.1960) are receiving wide acceptance especially their bears. They exhibit widely and are in many collections in Can. and the USA. ------------------------------- Tommy Tukpanie Jr. (Muckpaloo; Tukpanee; Takpanie) Ê Born: March 31, 1964 Male E7-2108 Place of Birth: Apex (Frobisher Bay) Resides: Iqaluit; also lived in Cape Dorset Sculpture Tommy is the son of carver Tommy Tukpanie. His two brothers, Pauloosie and Jamasee are also carvers.
