SEEPEE IPELLIE (SEEPEETEESEE; IPEELIE; IPEELEE; AIPEELEE; SIPITTISHEE) Born: February 3, 1940 Male E7-511 Place of Birth: Pangnirtung Resides: Iqaluit Sculpture Seepee is the son of the sculptor Nooveya Ipeelie. He began carving during a stay in hospital in the south when he was only fifteen. He also attended school in Edmonton, but returned home to Iqaluit where he married and raised a family.
