Gordon Six Pipe
Néhinaw (Cree)
Little information is readily available about the talented Néhinaw (Cree) artist Gordon Six Pipe, also known as Gordon Nightscout. Never prolific in his output, his quill and beadwork was aggressively collected by a close group of Toronto collectors. While artworks or documentation of Sixpipe's output are held at the National Gallery of Canada, the Heard Museum, and a host of regional venues across Canada, his creations have remained largely unavailable to the market.
Sixpipe's diverse talents include beadwork, pipemaking, painting, and hide and parfleche construction.
