Bio:
Clarence Dick is a member of the Songhees Band of the Coast Salish people located in Victoria, B.C. He studied art at Camosun College in Victoria, the Vancouver School of Art and apprenticed with artist Tony Hunt. Dick’s carving employs authentic Coast Salish designs and shapes but in a contemporary style.
