An Inuit Perspective Marie Bouchard 2000 "My wife, Kuunnuaq, really enjoyed carving. When we went out camping or fishing, she would always take along a peice of stone, an axe and her files. Her subject matter included both human and animal figures but centred primarily on the theme of motherhood. She oftern carved her figures in minature, which were very popular."
