Kigusiuq is the daughter of acclaimed artist Jessie Oonark (see Untitled drawing, lot 176) and sibling of many renowned artists including William Noah (see Wolf Man, stonecut, lot 99). Her drawings are narrative almost to the point of a candid snapshot, she typically illustrates the landscape familiar to her and daily activities of traditional life.
