Literature:
Norman Zepp, The Williamson Collection of Inuit Sculpture, Norman MacKenzie Art Gallery, Regina, 1987

Note:
Norman Zepp explains “Toona Iquliq is an enigmatic figure whose art, at times, is able to attain the sublime.” He singles out the owl as the best example of Iquliq’s “mastery of volume” however Tuna has achieved in this figural work the same mass and monumentality that Zepp credits Tuna with mastering.
