Martha Apsaq

Alternative Names: Apsaq Apsaq, Martha Apsaq, Qarliksaq Apsaq, Upshuk Apsaq

Martha is the daughter of Rankin Inlet artist John Kavik. Her husband, the late Harold Qarliksaq, was a graphic artist in Baker Lake. Her daughter Deborah Puyataq is a wallhanging artist in Baker Lake. Apsaq is known for her wall hangings, combining textile design and art to create unique pieces.
