Northern Rock Susan Gustavison 1999 I prefer stone that doesn't have any cracks... i prefer to carve our stone because its from our area. If it was from somewhere else it wouldn't be our style. i know some people like to oil or put a polish on their sculpture, but I prefer to leave the stone plain. After i have used my axe, then various files, I finish it ...with various grades of sandpaper.
