She, her siste Annie Amamatuak and husband Isarah Novalinga, joined with Leah Qumaluk, Maggie Siupi, Caroline Qumaluk, Lizzie Quanana, Syollie Amituk and Kanayuk Tukalak to lay the foundation for and produce an enormous body of work, which was sustained for almost 30 years. In addition Niali ran the print shop for 5 years from 1972 to 1977. She is also a throatsinger, and has made a recording with her sister, Alicie Alasua.
