Indian and Northern Affairs www.inac.gc.ca was born in 1959 near hall Beach in Nunavut and now lives in Igloolik. He started carving stone when he was nine years old, and learned by watching older sculptors work. He prefers to work in soapstone because it is soft, and he can create the forms he wants work has been ----------- www.inuitart.com From Natar: The experation of the art is the "THE GIVING" In my belief we do have a choice to give. Being a Inuk I do only have stone, ivory, bone, skin, country food and tools to hand out to give...Beside myself ---------------
