Abraham Ulayuruluk is a hunter, carver, singer, drum-dancer, and respected Inuit elder.As an actor, he played feature roles in Atanarjuat The Fast Runner and Isuma's newest feature film The Journals of Knud Rasmussen, now in post-production. He is a member ofIgloolik's Hunters and Trappers Association and was one of the key planners of Igloolik's 2002 bowhead whale expedition. He is also Jayson Kunnuk's maternal grandfather.
