www.inuitart.com Stanley Elongnak (Elonak; Nuvana) Born: July 23, 1964 Community: Holman Male - Drawing, Prints, Sculture Stanley is the son of artists Patrick Klengenberg and Elsie Anaginak.He has taken part in many exhibitions over the years and his work is included in many permanent collections including those of the Canadian Guild of Crafts Quebec, the Winnipeg Art Gallery and the Canadian Museum of Civilization.In 1985, Stanley was commissioned to design the poster for the travelling exhibit "Sanaugasi Takujaksat" and in 1987 he was commissioned to create portraits of the legendary Holman print artists Helen Kalvak and Mark Emerak, both now deceased.
