She makes parkas and kamiks with inlaid geometric designs in caribou fur and siksik (ground squirrel). Sometimes, the kamiks have beautiful embroidery. She uses sunbleached sealskin soles for her kamiks, crimped with her teeth to make the perfect fit.After June got married, she sewed all of her family's seasonal clothing. She produces work for others now, and it has even found its way into museums.
