12 Indigenous names for updated Edmonton wards proposed

New names for Edmonton's amended wards have been proposed by a committee of Métis, Inuit and First Nations women in order to honour traditional Indigenous connections to the land. The proposed names will be deliberated on at the city council meeting on September 21, and will come into effect on October 18, 2021 if the bylaw is passed this year.
